Leave it to Blizzard entertainment to add more content to 1 game over a 2 year span all for FREE (after the initial purchase of course) than most other games out there that charge an extra $50 for a season pass in most cases. This game is a bit over 2 years old (as of writing) and they are still announcing FREE content. This coming january they will be adding Diablo 1 as an event for FREE which will be playable from adventure mode, Seasonal play on console, 2 new areas, new items, and another NEW class; The Necromancer! All this for free mind you (except for the Necromancer.
He will have to be purchased) and thats without mentioning that since the game launched they have had over 4 MAJOR content updates which included over 250 items, 2 areas, new enemies, and balance fixes also all for FREE. Like i said, WORTH EVERY PENNY! And even though the Necromancer will cost money, its understandable considering it's the first time they have charged for anything in over 2 years. This game is great on console, and now holds up pretty well to the PC version.
The controls and combat are extremely fluid and play well with a controller. The dodging/rolling with the right stick is a great implement to the game. Now with Xbox's LFG and clubs, this game is finally worth playing. The game seemed dead before. Everyone played in small friend groups since D3 is limited to 4 per party.
It seemed you had to find groups on 3rd party websites which was a pain. Problem solved now.

Consoles are about to get Seasons. On top of that the Necromancer is returning soon. The replay value of this game has slowly but surely gone up over time, and now is one definitely essential to your library even if you've never played a Diablo game before. It's also worth coming back to now since launch. Lots have changed.
Reaper of Souls expansion finally made Diablo 3 relevant and these updates over time have resulted in a great game. As far as the gameplay goes this game is amazing and truly fun. It gets to be quite a challenge running into the various types of elites and champions scattered throughout the world.
The only downside to the game is if you choose to pair up with strangers online odds are they will be using modded 1 shot tools and weapons. Your best bet to get the most out of the game is to enjoy this with your XBL friends however it is still quite a bit of fun solo. You should definitely give it a try! Hope this was helpful.:D More.
This game is is perfect played the first two growing up and could not be more happy with what they have done. Lods of loot and quests the campaign is pretty dang long and stilll offers loads of end game content. Best couch co-op game you can find or to play with your freinds online. There are some millinials who complain about the graphics but diablo was never ment to be jaw dropping amazing graphics its got great grapics for what its ment to be and was also realesed 5 years ago on 360 this is just a updated version with the expansion. It deserves to be one of tthe top rated games because it excels at what its ment to be an engaging dungeon crawler this a must have and thank you blizzard for bringing back my childhood favorite.
