I reinstalled Windows 7 Pro 32 (clean) on my new system and it didn't preactivate. It tells me the product key I entered is invalid. I never entered a product key.
I was able to activate with the sticker product key. I tried contacting tech support but I guess I only have a hardware warranty and was told that is why the sticker is on the case.
