I was reviewing this as something to pass the time.

Made it about halfway through the book before becoming bored due to the content, not the presentation. How to summarize this book?

It's a collection of algorithms (with derivations) on how to solve a variety of differential equations. As such, it is very good.

My problem with it is that after a while I got bored learning algorithms, when I could just look them up when needed. But it did provide me with a month's worth of entertainment as I scour I was reviewing this as something to pass the time. His interests are in applied mathematics, special functions, and integral transforms.

Zill received his Ph.D. In applied mathematics and his M.S. From Iowa State University in 1967 and 1964, respectively. He received his B.A. Mary's in Winona, Minnesota, in 1962. Zill also is former chair of the Mathematics Department at Loyola Marymount University.
